Any individual, organization, or agency may file a complaint with the Laurel School District (LSD) if that individual, organization or agency believes and alleges that LSD is violating a Federal Statute or regulation that applies to a program under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA) as Amended Through P.L. 115-224, Enacted July 31, 2018. The complaint must allege a violation that occurred not more than one (1) year prior to the date that the complaint is received.

Our department serves to maximize resources and safeguard assets by utilizing the best business practices and exhibiting utmost integrity while providing support services and supporting the mission of the district.
We are responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of district resources. Our operations are regulated by the State of Delaware laws, regulations and the Office of Management and Budget, along with local Board Policy. The Business Department processes accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll for the District. Our goal is to assist the district in meeting its educational goals and objectives by effectively managing district resources.
