The Laurel Special Education Department serves all students in grades Preschool through twelfth grade, and students ages 3 through 21, who have an IEP or a 504 plan. This department is responsible for implementing State and Federal laws and regulations, Child Find Services, educational evaluations, holding annual IEP and 504 meetings, holding tri-annual ESR meetings, coordinating summer programming for ESY and 12 Month Services, and Gifted and Talented Programs.
